Oh yah, January is my birthday month. I am now 20 YEARS OLD (that's crazy to me)! As I move out of my teens and into my twenty-something years, I am grateful for the past and the future. Turning 20 may not seem like a big deal, but it's a giant leap into early adulthood. Am I ready? Well, we're about to find out this year. I already know I will prioritize adventuring into my adult life. It has become such a big part of my identity.

Here are my top 10 adventures thus far and my top 10 future plans...

Top 10 Adventure at 20!

1. Maui

My home and my favorite place on earth.

2. Angle's Landing Hike

Already planning my trip back here to hike it all over again. I'll be ready for those ~ 63 steep switchbacks.

3. Haleakalā 13 Mile Hike

I surprised myself with this hike. It has been the longest hike I have done so far, and it was just 5 months post-op from my ACL reconstruction surgery. It is one I will never forget.

4. Narrow's at Zion

Cold, but well worth it. There is just something different about hiking up a river canyon, and it definitely makes the top 5 list every time.

5. Crater Lake

I'm sad that Oregon only has one national park, but it makes up for it with all of its state parks and endless natural wonders. HINT: Check out my 7-Day Oregon Road Trip Itinerary for all my favorite parts of Oregon so far; I still have a lot to see.

6. Tulip Fields

My favorite flower, and looks even more amazing planted in endless tulip fields. When I get them as a gift, they start off as buds, then every time I return to my room, a new one blooms open. It instantly puts a smile on my face.

7. Cute Coffee Cafes

Hey, I didn’t say all adventures must include hiking or physical activity. Heck no, I like a relaxing day just as much as anybody else.

8. Bryce Canyon, Utah

Ummmm, the pictures I have of this place still take my breath away, and I was only there for less than half a day! I love early morning views, yet sunrises here just hit differently.

9. Blue Pools, Oregon

Bluest water I have ever seen. HINT 2: Check out my 7-Day Oregon Road Trip Itinerary :)

10. Hammocking

The perfect napping spot after a long hike. I am always ready to hammock and keep it in my car. I try really hard to find two trees that are just the right length. More often than not, I can find them.

Top 10 Future Adventures

  2. Mt. Hood, OR
